For each section of the research paper, you are allowed to include information from one real-life person that you know from your community. This person must be over 21 years old, and have lived in your native country until the age of 18, at least. You may use the same person for all the sections, or a different person per section, but you may not have more than one interview per category.
Suggested questions:
What are the _[social, economic, political]___ reasons that you believe people move from _[the name of your native country] to the United States?
Do you think the people who have moved here have found what they were looking for?
How does life in America treat them?
What changes would they like to see in their country which would encourage people to stay in their native countries? What needs to happen in order for people to prefer staying?
For ALL the questions, make sure to ask, "Can you give me some examples?" (Try to get as much detail as possible.)
Make sure to ask permission from your interviewee, and then record your meeting so that you can be accurate with the information.
The interviews need to be completed by April 5th. Upload the file to your Google Drive, and share it with me.
